We’re Looking for Player Partners!
We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity for your team’s players to share their skills, encouragement, and teamwork in a truly rewarding way. This experience is unlike any other—and as a bonus, participants will earn community service hours toward graduation. Each volunteer will also receive a certificate recognizing their contribution. Best of all, it’s three hours of community service they’ll never forget!
What Do Player Partners Do?
Player Partners are paired one-on-one with Dream Team players and “shadow” them throughout the game. This includes:

How to Sign Up

What Do Player Partners Do?
Player Partners are paired one-on-one with Dream Team players and “shadow” them throughout the game. This includes:
- Supporting and encouraging their player in the outfield
- Assisting during at-bats by running alongside them from base to base
- Providing guidance and positive reinforcement as needed
Schedule & Locations
Games take place on Saturday mornings (May 9 – June 13):
- 5 games at the Grand Traverse Civic Center
- 1 game (June 23) at Blair Township Baseball Fields
- Doubleheaders: June 6 and June 13
Arrival Times:
- 9:30 AM (standard games)
- 11:00 AM (doubleheaders)
- This allows for a brief orientation, assignments, and Q&A.
Game Duration:
- 3 innings or until 12:00 PM
- Doubleheaders run until approximately 2:00 PM
Volunteer Needs
- Each game (Junior and Senior) requires about 20 Player Partners
- Covering both games = 40 volunteers total
- Even if you only have a few players available, you are still encouraged to sign up!
- Each Dream Team consists of 10–12 players, and our goal is to have a Player Partner for every participant.
